Municipal Website & Non‑Profit Hub
Technical Stack: WordPress Core | Custom-Engineered PHP Framework | Stripe API
The Challenge:
Small city government had a site that was built with a page‑builder 10 years prior. The designer disappeared soon after the site launched, and it had been left static and outdated except for the city clerk’s efforts to continue posting council documents and ordinances, leaving these repositories incomplete and unorganized.
The city staff found us while looking for someone to update the derelict site with information regarding their food shelf and Historical Society plans. They desired to have the ability to receive donations for these two non-profits. Having agreed that the old site was not salvageable, they needed a partner who would reconstruct a new site according to their current needs and keep it updated and maintained for them.
The Solution:
- Engineered Civic Information Architecture: Deployed unified municipal Website-as-a-Service (WaaS) featuring dedicated sub structures for departments, services, and an indexed, search-optimized repository for city ordinances and council meeting documents.
- Secured Identity & FinTech Architecture: Integrated Third-Party Fundraising SaaS: Connected external Give Lively API endpoints and secure Stripe Payment Links to embed dedicated, donation pipelines for the city’s associated historical society and food shelf. Built a separate stand-alone one-page site for the food shelf with a donation call-to-action in the marquee.
- Concierge Content Governance: Provided comprehensive post-launch environment maintenance, content modifications and security updates.
